Jay Z pays tribute to Chester Bennington

It's been a month since his tragic death but friends continue to pay tribute to late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington.

This time Jay Z has honoured his friend during a his set at a UK concert, stopping the show to play the band's hit Numb/Encore. Check out the clip above.

The song has a special meaning for Jay and LP, with the two artists collaborating in 2004 for an EP, Collision Course, that also featured the tune.

“Can you guys light it up tonight for Chester? Linkin Park, one time, tonight. Please make some noise so he can hear you all the way in heaven tonight!” The 47-year-old rapper is heard telling the crowd at V Festival.

Collision Course also scored a Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.

It's a sweet moment, after Chester, 41, was found in his home last month. His death was ruled a suicide.
