Does Tom Cruise wear a fake butt?

Tom Cruise wants the world to know that he’s got a big butt… and he will not lie.

Rumours began swirling that Tom may have used a butt double or a prosthetic behind while filming his WWII epic Valkyrie after writer Alan Hanson, who goes by the fitting username “iluvbutts247” shared this image:

It ended up being retweeted nearly 17k times and received more than 65k likes.

Not everyone was convinced; but Alan was adamant that Tom was getting a little back door help.

Desperate to learn the truth, Screen Rant asked Tom to clear up the great bun debate – which he apparently had no idea was raging on.

“There was no prosthetic in Valkyrie. No,” Tom confirmed.

According to the publication Tom found the question quite funny and was keen to put the rumour to rest.

“I do my own mooing in films. So let it be known – I do my own mooning,” he said.

Alan, however, is not convinced telling The Cut he knows a real butt when he sees one.

“Tom Cruise definitely wore a fake butt for that scene,” he said. “I look at butts all the time so I can usually tell when they are fake or real (most times? they’re real). I don’t think there’s anything to be embarrassed about.”
