Kylie Minogue's photoshop fail

Kylie Minogue has hit back after fans were quick to suggest the singer had suffered an embarrassing photoshop fail on the cover of her new calendar.

Sharing the cover for the 2018 calendar to Instagram, the 49-year-old pint-sized star poses on a balcony of the iconic Chateau Marmont Hotel in LA, showing off her famous backside in a pair of tiny short shorts, reminiscent of her iconic Spinning Around video clip.

However it wasn't Kylie's bottom that fans were paying attention to, instead noticing the brick wall behind her was "curved" and called the Aussie out for "awful photoshop".

"Kylie, the cover’s awful photoshop shows :/ please fix that," one fan commented on the snap.

Quick to hit back, the Love At First Sight singer shared another shot of herself on the balcony, saying the wonky walls weren't because of bad digital editing but instead part of the charm of the historic French-inspired hotel.

"#lovers you have EAGLE [eyes]!! I'll ask the Chateau Marmont to straighten their walls but it's part of the charm!! #wonkywalls However, thanks for being ON IT!" Kylie captioned the second shot of herself enjoying a cuppa.

You can take the girl out of Ramsay Street but you can't take Ramsay Street out of the girl.

After dancing around in a pair of gold mini-pants in her 2000 video for Spinning Around, Kylie has previously spoken about her infamous asset, which was once voted "Best Butt In The UK" saying she refuses to show off her backside in "anything but the best light".

"The bottom is doing very nicely, thank you. It is its own entity. I think of it as something entirely separate to me. Probably the reason for it is the fact I’ve spent most of my adult life dancing around in very high heels," Kylie told Event magazine in 2015.

"If I’m ever honestly asked to explain my job I’d say I was a high-heel stunt woman. High heels are very bad for the back but they are great for the thighs and the butt. And then the other secret is great lighting.

"You’ll never see my bottom in anything other than the best light. I always make sure I am best friends with the lighting man on any shoot I do. A good light makes a hell of a lot of difference."
