Kevin Spacey's brother tells of 'family abuse'
Kevin Spacey's brother has claimed their dad was a "sadist" who targeted him throughout his childhood.
Randall Fowler, 62, said their white supremacist dad, Thomas Geoffrey Fowler, abused him for years in the "house of horrors" home they grew up in with their younger sister Julia.
The limo driver - who also works as a Rod Stewart impersonator - gave a graphic account of the alleged misconduct their dad made against him, including details of rape and horrific beatings.
“There was so much darkness in our home it was beyond belief," he told the Daily Mail. "It was absolutely miserable."
Randall told the publication he was 12 when his dad first sexually abused him, by telling him he needed to learn about "the birds and the bees".
He said he responded to the sordid behaviour by rebelling, and explained it affected Spacey too who "turned into himself' and tried not to stay out of the firing line by not getting in trouble, though he said his siblings were never abused in the sexual manner he was.
Randall also claimed their mum, Kathleen, knew about what was happening but "turned a blind eye."
The sensational accusations made against the House of Cards star's dad have resurfaced after Kevin Spacey was accused of sexual misconduct 30 years ago, by actor Anthony Rapp.
Anthony, best known for his part in Broadway show Rent, claimed the Baby Driver actor groped him on a bed in 1986, when he was 14.
Back in 2004, when Randall first spoke about their troubled upbringing, Spacey released a statement that called the allegations "serious."
"Kevin has not experienced the distress that his brother describes," he said at the time. "He has never been a victim of abuse and can only sympathise with him".
Both Thomas and Kathleen Fowler have passed away.
