The Sun reports the pastor “encouraged” the reunion with Selena “to heal their friendship at least” and the 23-year-old has been “asking her for her forgiveness this whole time”.

“He’s really cleaned up his life majorly," a source told the publication. "They consider each other their one true love."

When it comes to seeking advice, Justin always apparently goes to Carl.

“Justin does not make a move without consulting him,” another source told the outlet.

The lead pastor of the Hillsong Church has helped the singer find his spiritual path over the last few years.

They were both in Sydney earlier this year for the annual Hillsong Church Convention.

It was reported earlier this week Selena, 25, had split from boyfriend of 10 months, The Weeknd.
