Harvey Weinstein's dodgy disguise

After a slue of sexual harassment allegations were leveled at him, Harvey Weinstein fled Hollywood for rehab in the American desert.

And now it seems the disgraced 65-year-old movie producer is ready to get back out into the public, but he's not ready to be seen, with Weinstein spotted at a Phoenix, Arizona, restaurant wearing a dodgy disguise.

While most celebs might try and hide their identity with oversized sunnies and a baseball cap, the Miramax founder wigged out instead in a strawberry blonde toupée underneath a black cap as he ate with a pal at Chestnut restaurant.

TMZ reports that Weinstein even went to the great lengths of wearing "orange make-up" to try and hide from prying eyes, however only managed to draw more attention to himself when he asked for a private dining room.

The outlet adds the Good Will Hunting producer was keen eat in private but the only room available was "glass so people in the restaurant could see him". Probably not the private meal he had in mind.

Weinstein has been spending time in the US state of Arizona after completing a "1-week outpatient rehab program" following allegations from dozens of actresses that claimed they had been subjected to decades of sexual harassment, bullying, intimidation and even sexual assault by the producer.

The psychologist who worked with Weinstein previously told TMZ they had focused on "dealing with his anger, his attitude toward others, boundary work and the beginnings of work on empathy."

A rep for the film producer also told the publication he would continue to undergo numerous other kinds of therapy.

The dodgy disguise comes after Gwyneth Paltrow revealed she had "no regrets" about speaking out about her experience with Weinstein, saying the scandal was "long overdue".

"I think it’s incredible what’s happening,” Paltrow, 45, told CNBC in a new interview. “This is long overdue. There’s been this incredible confluence of events that’s really led to women coming together and feeling safe in numbers to come forward and talk about their experiences across all different industries."

The Avengers: Infinity War actress, a mum of two, said her daughter, Apple Martin, played a part in her decision to speak out to the New York Times last month about the harassment she faced from the movie producer when she was a 22-year-old working on the Miramax filmEmma.

"It’s my hope that this is the beginning of something important and different and that my daughter, when she goes into the workplace, won’t experience what you, presumably you, and I and millions of other women have had to endure. And so it feels important, and I’m happy that I have played a small part in it."
