Mariah Carey shows off '11kg weight loss' at Golden Globes

Mariah Carey showed off her incredible body transformation in a figure-hugging black gown on the red carpet at this year's Golden Globes.

The singer reportedly underwent gastric sleeve surgery late last year.

A source told Entertainment Tonight in November, the star was "extremely insecure about her weight".

According to the publication the 47-year-old has lost "25 pounds" (11kg) since the reported weight loss surgery.

Mariah was also wearing the $13 million engagement ring her ex-fiancé James Packer gave her on her middle finger on her right hand.

The All I Want For Christmas Is You singer made a statement with many other stars attending the 2018 Golden Globes by wearing black, taking a stand against the sexual assault and harassment allegations which recently rocked Hollywood.

Mariah posed alongside A-list stars America Ferrera, Natalie Portman, Emma Stone and Billie Jean King who all stunned wearing black.
