Exclusive: Brad Pitt responds to Jen and Justin’s ‘situation’

Brad Pitt has refused to comment on what his publicist terms ‘the situation’ between Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, who've announced they have split.

In a statement to Be, a rep for 54-year-old actor Brad said, "We have no comment on this situation".

Jennifer and Justin's split after two years of marriage comes in the wake of reports that Brad and Jen will be reuniting.

A report in Woman's Day magazine claims Brad has popped the question to his ex-wife, hoping to give things a go second time around 13 years after they split.

"He didn't make any big, romantic gestures or anything - he just laid his heart out for Jen and told her that she's still the one for him," an 'insider' told the publication.

The same magazine reported last week the pair were still 'in love' as Brad's former bodyguard spoke out.

"Brad and Jen are in love and always have been," Kris Herzog allegedly told the mag.

Brad is in the midst of divorce proceedings from Angelina Jolie and Jen confirmed her split from Justin on Thursday night (US time).

In a statement issued through the Friends star's publicist, Stephen Huvane, the former couple said the decision to separate 'was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year'.

The pair — who became engaged in 2012 and married in August 2015 — insisted they were still 'two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.'

"Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another," they added.

The couple said they are making the announcement publicly 'in an effort to reduce any further speculation' after fans noticed they hadn't been spotted much recently.

Brad, 54, and, 49, Jen split back in 2005 after five years of marriage.

The World War Z actor moved on with Angelina after he met her on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith but after 11 years together, two of which they were married, Brange announced they were separating in 2016.

They have six children together: Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 11 and nine-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
