Video of Donald Trump's hair flapping in the wind goes viral

He’s known for always having perfectly coiffed blonde locks whenever he’s seen out in public but on Wednesday, Trump’s strands broke free.

The magical moment, where the 71-year-old President’s hair flapped like a bird in the wind, was caught on camera for everyone to witness - and now it’s gone viral.

Journalist Ashley Feinberg was one of the first ones to tweet out the footage of Trump’s mane running wild, while he was boarding Air Force One.

“The Real Donald Trump. Beware. You can't unsee it,” she tweeted.

“At first I didn’t think this could possibly be real but…. I think it is?

"Imagine what those locks look like soaking wet.”

In the video, Trump can be seen casually strolling up the stairs to board his massive private jet, before a gust of wind comes from nowhere and blows his mop out of place.

Unaware that anything’s out of the ordinary, the President then turns around at the top of the stairs and gives a quick wave and a smile before heading inside.

Trump has previously spoken about his bouffant mane, telling Piers Morgan that it’s all real.

“People find it hard to believe it's my hair but it is,” he said.

“It's hanging in, barely, it's hanging in.”

And in January Trump desperately tried to stop a book called, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, from being released.

The controversial book, written by author Michael Wolff claims Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, used to describe in great detail to friends how the 71-year-old gets his off-blonde hue.

“She often described the mechanics behind it to friends: an absolutely clean pate—a contained island after scalp-reduction surgery—surrounded by a furry circle of hair around the sides and front, from which all ends are drawn up to meet in the center and then swept back and secured by a stiffening spray,” the extract, which was seen by The Sun, says.

It then goes on to say that Trump was too impatient to wait for his hair dye to develop and that’s why the colour is a little off.

“'The color, she would point out in comical effect, was from a product called Just for Men – the longer it was left on, the darker it got,” the extract continued.

“Impatience resulted in Trump's orange-blond hair color.”
