Kate Middleton speaks out about 'exciting' royal weddings

She’s about to give birth in a matter of weeks but that hasn’t stopped Kate Middleton from getting very excited about all the royal weddings she’s set to attend this year.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are due to tie the knot in a lavish affair on May 19th and just last month Princess Eugenie and her fiancé, Jack Brooksbank will wed on October 12th.

And when Kate Middleton was asked what she thought of upcoming celebrations, the Duchess seemed to be thrilled.

Kate was visiting a new addiction treatment centre in Wickford on Wednesday when a person in the crowd shouted out asking the 35-year-old if she is looking forward to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding.

“Yes, and now we have two with Eugenie’s,” the Duchess replied.

“It’s very exciting.”

It follows her statement following the loved-up couple’s engagement back in November, where she told reporters she was over-the-moon for Harry and Meghan.

“William and I are absolutely thrilled,” she said.

“It’s such exciting news. It’s a really happy time for any couple and we wish them all the best and hope they enjoy this happy moment.”

Likewise, she’s said to be extremely happy for Princess Eugenie and her fiancé Jack Brooksbank.

The couple announced their engagement via a statement on Instagram, which read: "The Duke and Duchess of York are delighted to announce the engagement of Princess Eugenie to Mr. Jack Brooksbank.

"Her Royal Highness and Mr. Brooksbank became engaged in Nicaragua earlier this month. The wedding will take place in the Autumn of 2018 at St George's Chapel in Windsor, with further details to be announced in due course."

In an official BBC interview following their engagement, Eugenie called Jack’s Central American proposal “incredible”.

"The lake was so beautiful. The light was just a special light I had never seen. I actually said, 'This is an incredible moment,' and then he popped the question, which was really surprising even though we had been together seven years,” she said.

“It was the perfect moment because we knew it was going to end up this way. I was over the moon, crying.”
