Khloe Kardashian’s trainer reveals pregnancy workout

She’s finally confirmed the baby news we’ve all been waiting for, and Khloe Kardashian has made it very clear she’s determined to keep herself fit and healthy during her pregnancy.

Khloe, 33, sent the internet into meltdown when she announced she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Tristan Thompson earlier today.

But in a sign the fitness fanatic isn’t slowing down on the regime that’s seen her show off her most insane body ever, Khloe posted an Instagram story just hours earlier in her active wear.

“My workout you can do ANYWHERE!” she captioned the snap.

Now, celebrity trainer, Luke Milton, who appears on the star's latest show Revenge Body With Khloe Kardashian, has spilled on how the mum-to-be’s workout might change.

Former Wallabies star-turned-celebrity PT Luke explains Khloe’s dedication in the gym - which sees her clock up six sessions a week - is legendary.

“She’s obviously one of the hardest workers I’ve ever seen in the gym,” Luke tells Be.

“It’s pretty motivating to be around her when she’s in the gym. Everyone looks on with awe – and a bit of jealousy.”

While Luke remains coy about Khloe’s pregnancy, the Aussie PT admits there’s a few key things to keep in mind for expecting mums who want to keep fit.

“The biggest thing with any pregnancy is common sense,” he says.

“When you find out you’re pregnant, it’s absolutely ok to continue the fitness regime you’re on. It’s not when I would recommend you start a new high intensity program you’re not used to.”

Luke also recommends mums-to-be keep an even keener eye on temperature and heart rate than usual.

“With the foetus being at that degree hotter than your body, you need to really make sure you don’t push that body to any excessive core temperature increases because that obviously puts the foetus at risk,” says Luke.

“The other thing to really monitor is heart rate, making sure the heart rate stays beneath 140 beats per minute, and doesn’t go over that for any extended period of time.”

While Khloe has yet to reveal how far along in her pregnancy she is, Luke says there are a few exercises she’ll need to stay away from further down the track.

“Things that we can stay away from – especially in the third trimester of pregnancy – are things like squatting, any resistance work over the head (which is going to increase the heart rate) and making sure you’re under doctor supervision and using common sense,” he says.

Revenge Body With Khloe Kardashian premieres January 8 on hayu.
