Khloe Kardashian's trainer reveals top fitness trends of 2018

Fitness isn’t taking a backseat for Khloe Kardashian now that she’s confirmed she’s six months pregnant, and the reality star’s Aussie trainer Luke Milton has revealed the trends we all need to keep an eye on in 2018.

Former Wallabies star Luke is one of the trainers on the mum-to-be’s latest show Revenge Body With Khloe Kardashian, and says it might be hard getting motived after the silly season – but a few key things can help.

“Move your body every single day,” Luke tells Be.

“Another big factor is to get your body back to being hydrated.

“Increase your water and get back onto your nutrition plan as quick as you can.”

For those who like to keep their finger on the pulse of fitness trends, Luke says there’s three that he’s tipping for 2018.

While it might be a new year, LA-based trainer Luke says there might be a return to the old fitness workouts of old.

“Boxing is a pretty big hit at the moment,” says the Aussie PT.

Love it or loathe it, high intensity interval training (HIIT) isn’t going to go anywhere, adds Luke.

“It’s taken the market by storm and it keeps growing,” says Luke.

“Keeping it high intensity, that’s where you’re going to get the best results.”

For those who want to try something new, celebrities are now turning to cryotherapy which sees people exposed to freezing temperatures in a tank, and is said to help aid weight loss, reduce inflammation and improve performance.

“I’m interested to see how cryotherapy is going to keep going,” says Luke.

“I’m a huge believer in the benefits of it in terms of recovery. I love the cold for recovery, it takes the inflammation out of the muscles, out of the body.”
