Princess Charlotte cried when Prince George left for his first day of school
Just when we thought Princess Charlotte and Prince George couldn’t get any cuter, it’s been reported that the little girl cried when her brother left for his first day of school.
Prince George went off to St Thomas’s Battersea school last month with his father, Prince William by his side.
And while he may have had a massive grin on his face after his first day, his three-year-old sister was at home missing her playmate.
“When George first started school, Charlotte cried when he left,” a palace insider told Life & Style.
“But she’s gradually become used to him not being around in the day.”
The brother and sister seem to be very close, with the royal source saying that they play and listen to music together.
“I’ve heard George say, ‘I’m the king of the castle,’ and Charlotte replies, ‘So am I!’,” the source said.
However it’s not all perfect families all the time, as the insider also said that Kate Middleton has caught Prince George drawing on walls and Princess Charlotte throws tantrums if she doesn’t want to wear a particular outfit.
It comes after Prince William revealed that Prince George is already over school.
“I just dropped George off and he didn't want to go," Prince William told a parent at an engagement commemorating the 50th anniversary of Bedfordshire, reported Hello!
"He told me he'd just dropped Prince George off at school and he didn't want to go. Sounds a bit like mine really,” parent Louise Smith said.
