Prince Harry 'swats' Meghan Markle's hand away on camera

They may be totally in love and due to wed in a matter of weeks but Prince Harry apparently has no time to hold Meghan Markle's hand at official royal events.

The 33-year-old royal was caught on camera today appearing to swat away his future wife’s hand when she went to grab it.

Prince Harry and 36-year-old Meghan Markle were in Brixton visiting local radio station, Reprezent FM, when the incident was filmed.

In the video above, which was captured by Sky News, Prince Harry is seen exiting the car on the right-hand side, while Meghan gets out on the left.

When Prince Harry goes around to the former Suits actress’s side of the car, she instinctively goes to grab his hand.

However, the royal is a dab hand at these official engagements and knew that it was only right that he shakes hand with whoever is there to greet them.

Instead, he appears to brush Meghan’s advances off, before introducing her to the woman from the radio station.

Reprezent FM was established ten years ago to teach underprivileged kids about media and employment.

The loved-up couple redeemed themselves afterwards when they walked around arm-in-arm meeting with the crowd and people from the station.

It was the first official royal engagement for the couple, who are due to get married on May 19th.

Meghan’s princess training clearly paid off as she waved to the crowd in a stunning grey coat matched with some grey scarf and black trousers.

One woman, who had waited out in the blistering cold conditions to catch a glimpse of the royals, broke down in tears when she met the Suits star.

Helen Wiltshire was able to hold Meghan’s hand and tell her how much she loves her when she greeted the crowd.

“I just love Prince Harry. For him to have found someone who he really loves it is amazing. You can feel their love I wish them all the best,” she told the Daily Mail.

The 69-year-old added that she used her moment to tell Meghan, “Thank you, thank you for all you've done”.
