Meghan Markle’s bestie blasts her Vanity Fair article
It was the candid tell-all no one saw coming, but one person isn’t a fan of Meghan Markle’s bombshell interview with Vanity Fair, with her close pal Priyanka Chopra hitting out at the article.
Meghan, who has stayed silent on her romance with Prince Harry up until this point, made headlines around the world when she professed her love for her royal “boyfriend” last week.

“At the end of the day I think it’s really simple,” confessed the Suits star. “We’re two people who are really happy and in love.”
However the actress’ BFF Priyanka has taken offence to the article, claiming the story focused too much on Harry, and not Meghan’s many accomplishments.
“It's just a little sexist. Look, I'm a feminist and I love boys, okay...” Priyanka told ET.
“The only thing I'm saying is that there needs to be a certain sense of equality, where a woman is not just a plus one, you know. It's nice to be your own identity too.”
With the article delving deep into Meghan and Harry’s romance, from their first meeting last July to the subsequent media attention, Priyanka claims her friend’s efforts as an “actor… activist and philanthropist” were lost in the relationship fanfare.
Meghan and Priyanka first met two years ago at a party, and have become close friends.
Appearing on each other’s social media feeds, Priyanka has always been supportive of her friend’s romance, with claims she's first in line to be Meghan’s maid-of-honour when engagement bling does appear.
“She plans to ask her best friend, Priyanka,” a source told Life & Style magazine.
