Kate Middleton's secret styling tools

If there’s something Kate Middleton has always nailed, it’s her perfectly glossy locks – and now the royal’s hairdresser has revealed exactly what it takes to get the Duchess’ flawless strands.

With the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge set to embark on a four-day royal tour to Norway and Sweden, a photo of the arsenal of equipment used by Amanda Cook Tucker to get the mum ready for her public events has been revealed.

Showing an assorted line up of 13 brushes, six combs, assorted product, two different types of hair dryers and three curling irons, Amanda is more than equipped to wrangle pregnant Kate’s hair no matter what the occasion.

And Amanda’s had plenty of practice as well.

Not only tending to Prince William and Prince Harry’s haircuts for years, Amanda was the Duchess’ go-to woman when she faced hordes of media outside St Mary’s hospital following the birth of Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

For those who want Kate’s look without breaking the bank, breathe a sigh of relief. The Duchess doesn’t use anything too outrageously expensive.

Her Elnett hairspray costs just $7.50, while the Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Body Booster Mousse she uses is just $11.

One thing the Duchess doesn’t skimp on is her brushes though, with a Mason Pearson brush setting you back upwards of $80.

And Amanda herself doesn’t come cheap. Charging $500 a day plus travel costs for her services, we’re tipping Kate’s hair will cost in the thousands for her upcoming royal tour.
