Blanca Blanco risks wardrobe mishap in breast-baring gown
She suffered an awkward wardrobe malfunction when she walked the red carpet at the Oscars in February last year and actress Blanca Blanco did it again at the Golden Globes.
Dressed in a risqué red number by Atria Clothing, the 36-year-old actress defiantly bucked the trend for wearing black on the carpet, which is aimed at taking a stand against the sexual harassment scandal that has engulfed the entertainment industry.
Instead Blanca decided to wear a skin-baring ensemble, which was slashed at the side revealing an extreme thigh-high slit.
"Guess someone didn't get the memo, or doesn't GAF about the cause," one person wrote on Blanca's Instagram account.
Actresses including Reese Witherspoon, Meryl Streep, Emma Watson and Jessica Alba have all vowed to attend the awards in black gowns, standing in solidarity with women who have come out with their stories of sexual assault.
An insider spoke to US Weekly last month revealing how so many actresses got onboard with the Time's Up movement and decided to wear black on the night.
"This movement is spreading rampantly and pretty much all the nominated women and others attending are participating," an insider said.
"All the stylists who already did fittings are now changing out their clients’ original picks for Globes."
Blanca's stand against wearing a black dress comes nearly a year after she arrived at the 2017 Academy Awards in a floor-length yellow and gold dress that left little to the imagination thanks to an extremely daring side slit.
The brunette beauty opted to wear no underwear for the film industry's night of nights, which meant onlookers were treated to a glimpse of more than expected when she posed for photographers.
