The most pinned lipstick on Pinterest has been revealed and it's not what we were expecting.

When you think of popular lipsticks, your mind automatically goes to neutral tones, reds and even berry colours, however the most pinned lipstick right now is something completely different.

The title of most popular lipstick on Pinterest goes to none other than MAC's 'Watch Me Simmer', which is a very bright pink colour with a coral undertone.

And while it may be loved by millions, the colour is extremely difficult to pull-off due to the strong pigment and colour pay-off.

Watch Me Simmer was first released in 2012 and due to popular demand MAC decided to re-release it in 2015 as part of another collection.

Due to it's popularity, the lipstick is actually pretty hard to come by, however there are a host of Instagram and Pinterest accounts who boast numerous dupes that are half the price.

We need to add this colour to our Christmas wish list now.
