Shakira struggling to take a selfie is everything

It's a struggle we've all been through - trying to take the perfect selfie.

Now, singer Shakira's husband, footballer Gerard Piqué, filmed her very real battle against the elements to try and snap a photo.

In the hilarious video the Colombian singer can be seen trying - and failing - to brush her long locks out of her face as fierce winds keep messing them up.

During the video Gerard can be heard saying: "She's trying to take a photo, I've been here for half an hour already in the car waiting as she takes a picture".

Shakira later uploaded the finished product to Instagram letting her 21 million followers know that the real story behind the shot will be coming soon:

She ended up captioning the video: "What us girls have to go through to get a selfie".
