Desperate Housewives star files for divorce after six months

Surprise! Nicollette Sheridan has filed for divorce – just six months after she secretly married Aaron Phypers.

The former Desperate Housewives star, 52, tied the knot with her beau in December 2015, but the couple separated a month before the star filed for divorce on July 15.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Nicollette filed for divorce at the Los Angeles Public Information Office, and has requested that the judge denies spousal support.

Nicollette and Aaron were first spotted together in December 2014, and while recent speculation arose over whether Aaron might consider popping the question, it comes as a complete surprise that the pair were already wed.

This will be the actress’ second dissolved marriage after she previously exchanged vows with Mad Men actor Harry Hamlin in 1991, and were legally separated in 1993.

Her past longtime romances include Leif Garret and Simon Main as well as engagements to her trainer Nicklas Söderblom and singer Michael Bolton.

Nicollette got engaged to Nicklas on New Year’s Eve 2004 but they called off their engagement in October 2005. She then accepted another ring from Michael in March 2006 but broke off their engagement in August 2008.
