Sam Armytage hits back at Sportsbet on Twitter

Sam Armytage has hit back at Sportsbet after they criticised Sunrise on Twitter.

The betting company posted a screenshot of Armytage and her co-host Kochie discussing ‘matchmaking made easy’ and not covering the latest Olympics results.

“Channel 7 rolling with the hard-hitting news instead of the Matildas and Sam Stosur,” they captioned on the pic.

But the blonde presenter was quick to point out the screenshot they used was a year old.

“That clip from last year,” she tweeted.

“Maybe turn on your tv TODAY @sportsbetcomau .. We’re covering Stosur & Matilda’s non-stop.”

Armytage then posted a photograph of herself from today.

“Heh @sportsbetcomau .. This is today’s outfit,” Armytage tweeted.

“Stop spouting rubbish & running clips from 12 months ago. #fail”

And Sportsbet was quick to apologise for their mistake, but still managed to take a jibe at Kochie.

“Sorry @sam_armytage, you got us. We pulled this from our file marked: Kochie’s all time most shocking ties.”
