Crikey! Bindi Irwin's boyfriend just caught his first crocodile!

It seems like Bindi Irwin's boyfriend Chandler Powell has passed the test when it comes to dating the late Crocodile Hunter's daughter.

The 19-year-old has joined Bindi and the rest of the the Irwin family, as well as a bunch of volunteers, for their annual Croc Trip at the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve in north Queensland and is celebrating a milestone - jumping on his first croc!

The American wakeboarder shared a photo to Instagram of himself lying on top of the massive reptile writing, "Cannot describe how excited I am to have jumped my first saltwater crocodile!!! Stanley was 9 feet 10 inches long and was last caught in 2013. Blessed to be a part of this awesome work."

Way to go Chandler!

Bindi and Chandler spent time holidaying in Tasmania before they travelled to the Cape York Peninsula reserve.

18-year-old Bindi has also been sharing snaps from their time away catching crocs and last night posted a very cute photo of the couple.

"We took turns driving the ute all the way from the Sunshine Coast to arrive here in Far North Queensland together. Couldn't have imagined a more perfect trip," Bindi wrote.

"Thank you @chandlerpowell it's been incredible. Super happy to be sharing our #CrocTrip2016 with you for the first time!"
