Has Angelina's brother stepped into Brad's shoes?

They've always had a close relationship, but now Angelina Jolie's brother James Haven has stepped up, helping the actress take care of her six children after she filed for divorce from husband Brad Pitt last month.

UsWeekly is reporting James, 42, has taken "an active daily role" when it comes to caring for the 41-year-old's children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, and Zahara,11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, eight.

"He took a more active daily role in June. The kids all call him Uncle James," a source told the publication.

Previously a source had told People, "James is her rock. She trusts him."

The siblings, who share the same parents Jon Voight and the late Marcheline Bertrand, caused a stir at the 2000 Oscars and Golden Globes when they locked lips. Numerous times.

So they're... Close...

Back in July, OK! magazine claimed James was spending more and more time with the kids to make up for Brad being away filming so often.

The reports went so far as to say that Knox and Vivienne had taken to calling him 'daddy'.

However, according to Us, Brad has no issues with his former brother-in-law helping with the kids.

"Brad thinks highly of James. He has always been incredible to the kids and is welcome in his home," a source added.
