Apparently Shia LaBeouf’s Las Vegas 'wedding' wasn't legal!

Ladies, you still have a chance with Shia LaBeouf.

Although the troubled star exchanged vows with Mia Goth on Monday in Las Vegas, they are not legally wed.

We knew there was a chance it was merely performance art — the Transformers actor, 30, has become known for it.

Now, according to the Clark County Marriage License Bureau in Nevada, the ceremony the pair participated in at Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel, which was officiated by an Elvis impersonator and cost the couple $900, was a commitment ceremony, not a wedding.

“Our Marriage License Bureau records show no marriage license for Shia LaBeouf & Mia Goth,” states a post on the county’s official Facebook page.

“A commitment ceremony was performed, though it was suggested in a live stream of the event that it was a wedding.”

So old Shia has done it again. Over the last few years, the Even Stevens star has turned himself into a performance artist extraordinaire.

After his plagiarism scandal in 2013, he publicly apologised at his #IAMSORRY installation in Los Angeles, where he let fans come in and yell at him. (And worse — he also claimed he was raped during the exhibit.)

He wore a bag on his head at a premiere that read, “I am not famous anymore.” He stormed out of a press conference in 2014.

He watched movies during his #AllMyMovies marathon at a New York City theater. He also hitchhiked across America (#TakeMeAnywhere), letting strangers pick him up.

That coupled with his bizarre behaviour around all his arrests make it hard to know what is real and what isn’t with this guy. (In a recent interview with Variety, he claimed he is marking one year of sobriety.)

The most disappointing thing about the fact that Shia didn’t get married is that it was so much fun to watch.

It was live-streamed by the chapel, and we were witnesses, right from our desks, to the whole wacky thing, which included a hula dancer alongside Elvis.

And Shia’s mom, Shayna Saide, was a witness in the chapel, seemingly lending credence to the fact that it was a legal union.

As for whether LaBeouf ever will exchange vows for real with the British actress and model, whom he met on the set of Nymphomaniac: Vol. II in 2012 and became engaged to earlier this year, who knows?
