Paris Hilton voted Trump

Paris Hilton has been fairly quiet about who she voted for in the US election, but finally she has confirmed she voted one for the Trump team.

The personality appeared on Network Ten’s The Project and when asked if she voted for the Republican, she told the show’s hosts: “I've known him since I was a little girl, so yes.”

It’s no surprise the great-granddaughter of businessman Conrad Hilton who founded Hilton Hotels, is anything less than close family friends with fellow entrepreneur and president to-be Trump.

“I've known him my entire life and he's always been incredibly supportive of me,” the 35-year-old socialite said of her relationship with the President-elect.

Interestingly, the tall blonde recently refused to tell a TMZ videographer if she voted Trump, but now in Australia for a DJ tour and to promote her new fragrance, Gold Rush, the star who was hesitant at first eventually responded, “Yes” on national television to swaying Trump’s way.

Trump previously revealed Paris is a close friend of his daughter Ivanka, and met the singer when she was 12-years-old and has described her "as a great beauty."

Earlier this week, Paris had some trouble boarding her flight to Oz. Reports say her passport was invalid but luckily the issue was resolved and the star was able to fly Down Under.

During her time here, Paris will be making appearances in Melbourne and Sydney.
