Bindi Irwin denies 'teen mum' report

Our jaws hit the floor this morning when a Woman's Day report claimed 18-year-old Bindi Irwin was planning to start a family with her 20-year-old boyfriend Chandler Powell. Shut the front door!

But while we LOVE the idea of seeing social media snaps of a mini-me Bindi crawling around with koalas at Australia Zoo, her reps have denied that it is true.

Sorry Bindi fans, but there is no baby Irwin on the way. Our pals at Australia Zoo confirmed directly to Be that " the reports are completely false."

"I can advise with certainty that these stories have been made up," their rep confirms to Be. "I don’t even know how anyone would have a clue about Bindi’s health, but that claim is also entirely untrue...

"We’re just over here saving wildlife and the environment!"

According to the Woman's Day report, Bindi's constant baby talk was a point of concern for her mum, who apparently thought the pair were getting too serious too soon.

"Bindi keeps talking about babies, saying she wants to be a young mum," a source told the mag.

But while the mag adds that Terri totally trusts Bindi's wakeboarder beau, the wife of the late Steve Irwin apparently wants them to wait a few years.

"The last thing Terri wants is for Bindi to become a teen mum and regret it down the line," the source spills. "She's got her whole life in front of her and Terri doesn't want her held back by doing something hasty."

What's more, Chandler has already moved in with his 18-year-old girlfriend, suggesting things are pretty serious between the pair already.

According to Woman's Day, the pair may have separate rooms, but Terri can't keep her eye on them ALL the time.

"Although Terri tries to keep a tight rein on them, they have plenty of time on their own," the source tells the mag. "Who knows what they get up to when her back is turned?"

The source further adds that Bindi's 52-year-old mum has tried to lecture the teenager about sex, but Bindi turned the topic back to her mum's own life choices.

After all, Terri and Steve got engaged just four months after they first met in the early '90s. They wed eight months after that.

The mag also added that Bindi's recent illness caused her mum to get worried.

"Bindi was under the weather," a "friend" spilled to the mag. "And it flashed through Terri's mind she could be pregnant."

But let's be real. Although babies don't seem to be on the horizon just yet, the couple certainly do look like smitten kittens.

The Wildlife Warrior Bindi recently revealed that she knew Chandler was ‘The One’ when she saw him for the first time in his zoo outfit!

“It was kind of one of those moments that was a real defining moment for me, because you know, it's only the people who are the closest to us that get their khakis,” she spilled to ET, before adding that it was a “really big step" in their relationship.

Chandler first wore the uniform when the couple, who have been dating for two years, had a month-long trip in August to catch crocodiles.

“That was incredible," Chandler added. "Last month, we were up in far north Queensland on the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve, and we spent a whole month just catching crocodiles in the wild."

US-born Chandler, has long been a fan of Bindi’s dad, Steve Irwin, and reportedly “idolised” the late Crocodile Hunter.

“Chandler used to watch Steve Irwin’s TV show all the time as a kid,” the professional wakeboarder’s grandfather John DiCenzo told Woman’s Day.
