Is Ellen 'headed to rehab'?

She may put on a brave face on TV, but funnywoman Ellen Degeneres is reportedly hiding a dark secret.

According to RadarOnline, the comedian’s marriage to Portia de Rossi is in trouble – and it’s all down to Ellen’s alleged "drinking problem".

Just last week, Ellen confessed to dislocating her finger after “two glasses of wine”, but insiders claim that she was simply downplaying a much bigger issue.

“She can joke all she wants about this, but it’s not funny,” a source tells RadarOnline. “And this could spell the end of her marriage.”

The outlet claims Ellen is headed to rehab to address her issues. “[She] has been honest about her addiction fear and has discussed it with family and friends many times,” the insider says.

“Ellen needs help and she needs it now.”

The "rehab" claims come after reports that the couple, who married in 2008, have put their impressive Tuscan-style stone villa home in Santa Barbara on the market, a property Ellen once said the hoped was their "forever" home.

Despite publicly reassuring fans that her marriage to Portia is fine, sources tell OK! Magazine that the sale of the 1930s villa is only the start of a “sad split” for the pair.

"They're not only headed for a divorce, but they're also secretly splitting up their assets before they make an official announcement," the insider told the publication.

With the property listed for $58.6 million, the source adds proceeds of the sale will go towards their final settlement, with Ellen wanting to make the split as “scandal-free as possible”.
