Check out the new trailer for All Eyez on Me and see how much newcomer Demetrius Shipp Jr, who plays Tupac Shakur in the film, looks like the real deal.
The movie is a dramatisation of the iconic rapper's life, from his rise to fame, to his controversial years at the top of his game and then his highly-publicised murder in 1996.
The powerful new trailer, which has been released ahead of its premiere in June, begins with a quote from Tupac's activist father Mutulu Shakur, played by Jamie Hector in the flick.
“You must stand for something. You must live for something, and you must be willing to die for something,” he tells his son.
The trailer moves from snapshots of the rapper's life from his early years to his rise to superstardom and his rivalry with Biggie (aka Christopher Wallace), played by Jamal Woolard.
Walking Dead stars Danai Gurira and Lauren Cohan also appear in the movie.
Benny Boon's film hits cinemas June 16, which would have been Tupac’s 46th birthday.
