Charlie's ex on life after his HIV positive revelation
One of Charlie Sheen's former "goddess" exes has spoken out about the impact the actor's HIV positive revelation in 2015 had on her career and personal life.
Adult actress Sara Elizabeth Bentley has written a blog post for the Bunny Ranch website, in which she reveals she was "close to ending my own life" after no one would hire her, because of her link to the former Two And A Half Men star.
"Since I was publicly known as one of Charlie’s paramours, I was immediately ostracised from the porn world and couldn’t get work as an adult video actress, despite testing negative for HIV time and again," she writes.
Sara also says her personal relationships suffered, leading to her making a drastic move in a live video webcast that could have seen her end her life.
"My boyfriend at the time, who I cared for deeply, left me. I was alone and my heart was broken.
"I couldn’t deal with it. I flipped and came close to ending my own life in a desperate cry for help during a live video webcast."

She continues: "I was in the midst of a nervous breakdown and all I could think about was killing myself".
However Sara says she then found an outlet in painting, which helped her mentally and "took my mind away from the situation involving Charlie".
She's been able to sell her artwork across the globe while dealing with her depression, but admits there's still a part of her that knows the adult entertainment industry is her true calling.
The porn film star has already made the next move, taking up a gig at Nevada brothel Dennis Hof's Love Ranch.
Meanwhile it was back in 2015 when it was revealed that Charlie Sheen was HIV positive, the actor being diagnosed back in 2011.
He told Radar Online he "should have been more responsible and more concerned for myself", and claimed "all my partners knew".
The actor then faced a string of lawsuits, as "goddess" exes claimed he never told them about his situation.
