Charlie Sheen targeted in drug raid

Charlie Sheen has had yet another brush with the law, this time after a trip to Mexico.

Radar Online has published claims that the controversial star was on his way back from a Cabo San Lucas getaway when his plane was “forced to land” at Brown Field Airport in the US city of San Diego.

A source told the outlet that officers “took all the bags off the plane, and had drug-sniffing dogs go through the plane and bags.”

“A dog sniffed around one of the suitcases on the tarmac," the source revealed to Radar Online. "The dog scratched on the case, and it was opened, but it was a false alarm.”

According to the onlooker, Charlie was allowed to re-board the plane after his close call.

The HIV-positive actor has been marred with drug scandals during his career, and was hospitalised in 1998 after overdosing on cocaine.

His hit sitcom Two and a Half Men went on temporary hiatus in 2011 when Charlie checked into rehab for substance abuse issues.
