Travis Scott speaks out after fan's balcony fall at NYC show

Travis Scott has spoken out about a fan getting injured after falling from a balcony at his recent concert in New York City.

The 25-year-old musician's representative has issued a statement to Pitchfork, reading in part, "We are deeply concerned about the guest who was injured and intend to offer him our support".

During his show at NYC's Terminal 5, Travis spoke to a fan who was hanging from a balcony railing.

"I see you, but are you gon’ do it," the rapper asked the fan. "They gon’ catch you; don’t be scared!"

That particular fan fell and was caught by the crowd below, but that was just the start.

Another fan is said to have also fallen from the balcony on the third level, with Travis reportedly pausing the show so the injured fan could be attended to medically.

He was subsequently sent to hospital.

In a statement obtained by Pitchfork, Travis' representative said: "The safety of everyone is held in the highest regard and we are currently conducting an internal investigation to ensure that this does not happen again.

"We are deeply concerned about the guest who was injured and intend to offer him our support."

Travis is yet to address the incident on his social media accounts.

He has also been making headlines in recent days for his supposed new romance with Kylie Jenner.
