Is Adele expecting?

She left many fans heartbroken after she had to cancel her final two London shows due to “damaged vocal chords” but that many not be the actual reason.

OK! has published claims from "friends" of Adele confirming that she is actually pregnant with her second child.

The singer and her husband Simon Konecki have apparently been eager to have another baby for a while now, wanting to give their four-year-old son Angelo a little brother or sister.

When she performed in Nashville in October last year Adele told the crowd: “My son is about to turn four very, very soon. I’m starting to get very emotional about it because I feel once they turn four, they’re not really your actual baby anymore. So, my womb is starting to ache a little bit. It’s like, ‘Baby, baby, baby. Need a baby, need a baby.’”

Now, the publication is reporting that her womb's wishes have come true!

A source told the magazine: “Adele has been under terrible stress trying to please fans and have a child at the same time, and it just wasn’t working.”

The magazine reports that the source confirmed that Adele is in the first stages of pregnancy.

The 29-year-old took to Instagram to share the news about her cancelled shows due to her strained vocal chords, saying she was "devastated" she had to end her tour so suddenly and asking her fans to “please forgive” her.

Interestingly, Adele chose to give refunds for her cancelled shows instead of rescheduling them and the insider tells OK! it is to rest up for her pregnancy.

“It’s all about prenatal care, resting and playing with Angelo before the sibling comes. Doctors have urged her to rest up in order for the pregnancy to be a success. She is super happy with her decision and so is Simon,” the insider says.

The Grammy-award winner previously hinted that she many never tour again and with a potential new bub on the way that may be even more true than ever.

However, at one of her final shows in London that wasn’t cancelled the singer apparently joked how all she really wants to do now is “eat takeaways and drink white wine”.

Is she trying to fool us or are these pregnancy claims bogus? Only time will tell…
