Mean Girls cast reunite for Vegas shooting victims

It's the quote everyone remembers and now the cast of Mean Girls have reunited to help make a difference on October 3rd.

After Sunday's tragic mass shooting in Las Vegas, the cast of the 2004 flick have banded together in an effort to help raise funds for the victims of the attack that left 59 dead and over 500 injured after a gunman opened fire at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival. In the movie, the dreamy Aaron Samuels, played by Jonathan Bennett asks Lindsay Lohan's Cady Heron what day it is on October 3rd. It was October 3rd.

And now Jonathan has teamed up with co-stars Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert and Daniel Franzese for a special video on, you guessed it, October 3rd (US time), otherwise known as Mean Girls Day, letting fans know about the GoFundMe page they have set up in an effort to raise money for the victims.

"This year, though, we’re doing things a little differently. We want to turn the attention to those who need it. After Sunday’s tragic events in Las Vegas, let’s give back. In honor of ‘Mean Girls’ Day, we’re asking each of you, the groolest fans out there, to help," the stars say throughout the video.

"We’ve started a GoFundMe page and a hundred perfect of the proceeds will go to the National Compassion Fund. If every fan gave just $3 in honor of Oct. 3, just $3, we would hit our goal of $300,000 in no time."

Unfortunately Lindsay didn't make an appearance, nor did Queen of the Plastics herself Regina George, er, we mean Rachel McAdams.
