Jarrod's creepy text to Bachelorette winner Stu

He's already admitted to being "heartbroken" after being rejected by Sophie Monk.

But now winner Stu Laundy has revealed Jarrod Woodgate sent him a rather "creepy" message during the finale of The Bachelorette.

Talking on the Kyle & Jackie O Show, the dad-of-four explained that they were staying in the same hotel last night during the climatic ending to the dating show.

But while Stu was in one room celebrating with his new love, Sophie, lonely Jarrod was right next door.

"He texted me at one point and said, 'I can hear you,'" Stu, 44, told the KIISFM hosts.

Talk about awkward.

Sophie then explained that her new man was full of empathy for his former rival and said he wanted to console him.

"Stu wanted to go see him!" she said, almost in disbelief.

Earlier in the day, Jarrod had also been on air with the popular radio hosts where he explained he was "still fresh" from the heartbreak.

"I'm still hung up on Sophie," he said. "I was 110% confident we were going to be walking off together."

Despite feeling bad for Jarrod, 32, Sophie and Stu are delighted to finally be able to go public together after two months in hiding.

They are already talking about starting a family together.
