Harry Styles takes a slippery stumble onstage

His solo career may be going swimmingly at the moment but Harry Styles can’t seem to find his footing on stage.

That wasn’t helped when an overzealous fan decided to throw a piece a kiwi at the former One Direction star right in the middle of the crooner belting out the hit song - you guessed it, Kiwi.

The 23-year-old was just getting into the swing of things on the second night of his residency at Hammersmith Apollo in London when the fan drama went down.

Harry was energetically dancing around the stage when out of nowhere a fan launched a kiwi from the crowd and got it right in the star’s path.

The singer could be seen walking into the danger zone before stepping right in the green fruit and slipping.

He managed to compose himself and stop a full-on fall, but he did have a world with the crowd after.

“As some of you may have seen, I almost slipped a little while ago,” Harry told the crowd in a Twitter video.

“It appears there was an actual kiwi thrown on stage.”

Harry could then be seen trying to clean up the remnants of the fruit splatter with his feet, before turning his attention back to his set.

In another video, Harry could be seen surrounded by kiwis on stage.

We’re not sure if throwing kiwis on stage is now a Harry Styles fan phenomenon but he didn’t seem very impressed with it.

It comes after the song, ‘Kiwi’ has made headlines all around the world, with people questioning whether or not the lyrics are about New Zealand model Georgia Fowler.

The Victoria Secret star and the singer are said to have enjoyed a brief fling in 2015.

The chorus of the song includes the lyrics: "I think she said 'I'm having your baby, it's none of your business'."

However, speaking on The Morning Show, Georgia dispelled all rumours of her being the inspiration behind the tune.

“Ah, don't really know anything about it,” she said, calling Harry a “friend” of hers.

“Definitely don't have a baby... that's what the song is all about,” she added.
