Fans react to Debra Messing calling out E! on gender pay gap
The A-list actresses of Hollywood are taking a stand at this year's Golden Globes wearing black, making a statement against the sexual assault and harassment allegations which recently rocked tinsel town.
Will and Grace star Debra Messing joined in on the movement and also called out E! News on their own red carpet after a recent equal pay dispute.
"I was so shocked to hear that E! doesn't believe in paying their female co-hosts the same as their male co-hosts," the 49-year-old told E! host Giuliana Rancic.
The actress said that she stands with Catt Sadler, a former E! presenter who departed from the entertainment company following an equal pay dispute in December 2017.
"We want people to start having this conversation that women are just as valuable as men," Debra stated.
And, of course, her brave statement and support for Catt didn't go unnoticed by fans on Twitter.

Another pointed out that Debra was the only actress with the "guts" to call out E!.
So far @DebraMessing is the only celebrity with enough guts to call out @enews #GenderPayGap while on E!. #GoldenGlobes

It's brilliant to see women and men standing together in solidarity at such an iconic event.
