A Victoria’s Secret model is set to hit the runway at the Myer show

When David Jones pulled out the big guns by bringing in Gemma Ward for its recent spring/summer season show, insiders began to wonder how Myer would respond.

It seems the department store has come to the party though, with the Daily Telegraph reporting this morning that Victoria’s Secret model Megan Puleri will be hitting the catwalk alongside Jennifer Hawkins at Myer’s upcoming launch on August 23.

Puleri is one of the Victorias’s Secret newcomers, but she’s already picked up some valuable runway tips from the veteran Angels.

“Candice Swanepoel and I had the same trainer for the show and I ended up getting some tips from her,” she told the Daily Telegraph.

“She told me to have an air about you that’s confident and to look comfortable in your own skin, and said the first show was always the most fun; that’s the first advice I got about the Victoria’s Secret show and the most important thing I took away from it.”

19-year-old Puleri will be one of 60 models showcasing the department store’s labels, which now includes international designer Emilio Pucci.

1000 people will be in attendance at Myer’s new season collection launch, with 700 consumers joining 300 VIPs for the event.
