Dopey actor at Disney World narrowly avoids disaster after falling off balcony during live show

While we expect to see some falls, bangs and smashes attending a Cirque du Soleil show, you could never imagine a near fatal disaster to occur at a Disney World show.

But that's exactly what happened when the actor who plays Dopey in Fantasmic took a dive from the top balcony, while taking part in the play fight between good and evil.

During the final parade, Dopey, one of the seven dwarves, was on the second deck of a ship when he fell through the railings and landed on Goofy, on the next level.

Instead of looking shocked and falling to the ground, Goofy carries on waving his streamer, looking back to see if Dopey survived the fall, which could have ended very badly.

Audience members who caught the action on their cameras were quick to upload the footage to the internet, with many commenting about how lucky the actor who plays Dopey is that he landed on the person who plays Goofy.

If not that there could have been a very different outcome.
