For most of us, the colour purple is nothing to cry over – but for these people, it’s a different story.

Cosmopolitan.com compiled a series of videos in which colourblind people see colour for the first time, with some amazing reactions.

Most of them can hardly believe their eyes, with many breaking into tears.

"I never realised how much I was affected by the fact that I can't see the world like, the other way people see the world,” says one, while another simply exclaims, “Is this purple?! What the f$%^!”
