Prince William and Harry's Star Wars: The Last Jedi cameo
They may already be royalty but now Prince William and Prince Harry can add movie stars to their growing list of titles.
The royal brothers have walked the red carpet at the European premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi in London, after it was revealed the pair would make a cameo appearance in the new film, which hits cinemas in Australia this week.
But there’s no chance of Wills and Harry stealing the spotlight from Daisy Ridley and Mark Hamill because you won’t even realise they’re there.
The brothers are actually disguised in Stormtrooper suits, so their faces won’t appear in the film at all.
They’re apparently standing beside none other than Take That singer Gary Barlow and UK actor Tom Hardy in the scene, which is said to be a blink and you’ll miss it moment.
It’s been reported that they appear in a scene where John Boyega’s character, Finn, enters an elevator with a number of Stormtroopers.
According to the Hollywood Reporter Boyega said working with the royals was “fun” and a “great experience”.
He also added that seeing the famous men “wrapped in Stormtrooper costumes” felt like a “strange contrast of a weird family”.
The royals were spotted on set of the film last year meeting with the cast and crew.
