Is this what hotel rooms in the future will look like?

The Radical Innovation Awards (yep, that's a thing), were recently held in New York and what prevailed from the event was what we can - hopefully - expect to see from the future of hotel rooms.

One of the most notable ideas to come from the awards was a design by the architects HOK called Driftscape.

The innovative concept aims to deliver self-sustaining hotel rooms to remote areas by a drone.

Inside each hotel room will be a bed, a table and a lamp, plus it will promise to offer 360-degree views because of its flexible location.

If this is the future looks like, then we like it!

The winner of the Radical Innovation Awards (announced in October) will be granted US$10,000 to go towards their idea.
