The $5 beauty hack Sophie Monk swears by

Sophie Monk is best known for her down to earth personality.

Now the Love Island host has proven she’s still very much the girl next door, after revealing the beauty hack she swears by — and it costs just $5!

The self-confessed “bogan” told Be how she gets her dewy cheeks using a bargain product found in just about every Aussie bathroom.

“I use Vaseline as a highlighter on my cheeks when I’ve been flying, and on my collarbone,” she told Be. “It’s great to make you feel refreshed and moisturised.”

“I think I made it up when I was younger, but when I’m flying and I feel dry, I swear by it,” Sophie said. “It’s so great as a highlighter.”

The 38-year-old — who has just been named as a ‘Lipbassador’ for the brand — said she even prefers it to lipstick.

“I think it makes such a difference, just adds a bit of a gloss,” she said. “I barely wear lipstick, I just wear my Vaseline.”

The former Bachelorette also opened up about her new man to Be — who coincidently, she met whilst at high altitude.

After only meeting him once, and sharing a cheeky pash on the plane, the pair committed to being in a relationship and Soph said she’s excited to see him again soon.

“It’s very good, everything’s awesome, we talk a lot,” she said of the mystery man in her life.

“I’ve got a trip to LA soon for work, so after that, we’ll meet up somewhere.”

The former Bardot singer split from Stu Laundy in January and had been single until she met her new lover interest in August.

Describing him as “normal, down-to-earth and funny,” on KIIS FM’sKyle and Jackie O Show last month, it seems she’s ready to pucker up for him again.
