Actress slams airline for 'rerouting and separating' her from her child

Actress Busy Phillips is furious with Delta Airlines and she’s taken to Twitter to let it all out.

In a now deleted tweet, the 39-year-old mum-of-two called the airline ‘terrible’ for allegedly canceling her flight with her daughter, nine-year-old Birdie, and rerouting them on to different flights.

“Hey @Delta! Thanks for cancelling my flight and then rerouting us and separating my MINOR child onto a different flight than mine and having a 2 HR call time wait! You are terrible!” she said on Twitter.

The Dawson’s Creek actress explained to a follower that she of course didn’t leave her daughter alone and ended up waiting until 2:30am for her whole family to get a flight together.

Delta Airlines immediately responded to the actress on Twitter, apologizing and assuring her that ‘this does not represent the Delta Brand of customer service’.

“I really would like an opportunity, to do everything possible to help, please share with me in a direct message your ticket number or Confirmation Code from this travel,” Delta responded to the star on Twitter.

Speaking to Fox News, the airline said that Busy and her daughter’s bookings were actually made at different times, so when the flight was cancelled, they weren’t put on to together.

Fox reports that the airline ending up refunding Busy for any portion of the flight that she did not use.
