Has NY Fashion Week gone too far with naked model?

Like most fashion weeks, New York Fashion Week prides itself on showcasing an impressive collection of designer clothing from an array of elite labels.

But this year it seems some designers are adopting the mantra 'less is more', asking their models to wear next to nothing as they strut the runway for the Big Apple's major fashion event.

Transgender model Amanda Lepore had heads turning this week, when she hit the catwalk at the Kaimin show in a completely see-through outfit.

The blonde bombshell's bare chest and nether regions were clearly visible to the front row, as she made her way up and down the ramp in a sheer fishnet bodysuit.

South Korean-born designer Kaimin, who has previously dressed eccentric stars like Lady Gaga and Bjork, has forged a reputation for pushing the boundaries on the runway.

Another recent New York Fashion Week show saw models sporting her collection while also wearing vagina wigs.
