Amazing gender reveal leads to surprise proposal
These soon-to-be parents came up with a fun way to reveal the gender of their unborn baby – but there was more than just one surprise on the cards.
With the help of a soccer ball, the couple from the US gathered their friends and family to reveal whether they were having a boy or a girl.
“Let’s hope it’s a boy, alright,” says the soon-to-be dad before he gets ready to kick the ball.
Onlookers start a countdown from ten before he kicks the ball revealing pink dust – it’s a girl.
And while he initially looks somewhat disappointed, that is quickly remedied by what comes next.
The surprise didn’t stop there, because while his girlfriend was looking away, the guy quietly got down on his knee and took out a ring.
When she realised what was going on, she looked totally surprised and couldn’t hold back her tears before accepting his marriage proposal.
Yes our hearts are exploding. We love a happy ending.
