Avril Lavigne steps out with new billionaire boyfriend
Avril Lavigne has stepped out looking happy and healthy with new boyfriend, son of Texan billionaire Fayez Sarofim, Phillip Sarofim.
The pair were spotted holding hands while out in Bel-Air, Los Angeles last week looking totally loved-up.
Avril was rocking a chic baggy red dress, with a matching red bag and white trainers.
It appeared the pair were running some errands at Jaydes Market at the Beverly Glen Centre.
The Complicated singer has kept a low profile for the last few years due to her ongoing battle with Lyme disease.
However, the star has come back fighting fit, making her first red carpet appearance in two years last week as she attended the 25th Annual Race To Erase MS Gala at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.
And after her five-year hiatus from the music industry, Avril confirmed she will be releasing an album later this year.
“It’s a really powerful record,” she told E! on the carpet. “I’ve been working on this for three years. I can actually say this time I’m going to be done with this album in two weeks, and I will put it out this year.”
The 33-year-old was flying solo at the event without boyfriend Phillip but her new romance comes nearly three years after her divorce from Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger.
Chad and Avril met in 2012 and became engaged after just one month of dating.
The pair eventually married in July 2013, but sadly two years later she announced they had separated in a statement via Instagram.
We’re so happy Avril is finally back on the music scene. We can wait to hear some new bangers from her.
