Bachelor In Paradise’s Rachael: ‘Thomas wasn’t genuine’
Bachelor In Paradise sweetheart Rachael Gouvignon was left blindsided and heartbroken by Thomas Perras last night.
But it’s only now she’s had a chance to watch it back that Rachael has realised Thomas’ intentions weren’t for the right reasons, she exclusively told Be.
“I don’t know how genuine he was,” she said. “But that’s only really hit me since watching it.”
The 33-year-old believes Thomas was only in it to get his 15 minutes of fame.
“It’s made me go, ‘Oh my gosh this guy just wants more air time’,” Rachael explained.
The way Thomas acted with her was very different to the way he acted with Megan, according to Rachael.
“I don’t know if he really liked me that much,” she added.
With claims from Sasha branding Thomas as an actor, Rachael agreed that could “definitely be the truth”.
“Do you know when I felt like he was acting? When we had to sit down on that step and he was talking to me and he actually to me, ‘Oh you’ve changed since our date’,”Rachael said.
His statement left Rachael extremely confused because Thomas “didn’t even want to talk” to her after their date.
“It was like he was reading a script to come off looking like he was the good guy,” Rachael admitted. “Right there in that moment I felt like he was reading a script.”
Despite being unlucky in love on both Bachelor In Paradise and The Bachelor, Rachael hasn’t lost her faith in the process of the franchise.
So much so, she’d “definitely” consider doing The Bachelorette.
“You’ve got 20 guys or whatever asking to take you out on a date is better than Paradise!” she joked.
