Bachelor In Paradise's Tara spills on Sam split

A month after announcing their split, Bachelor In Paradise Tara Pavlovic has shared more details on her and Sam Cochrane’s relationship breakdown.

The reality star claims the relationship was ‘toxic’, and that it was Sam who called time on their romance after proposing to her on the Channel Nine reality show.

“I feel the biggest sense of relief now that it’s all over. I finally feel like I’m myself again,” she told Daily Mail Australia.

Tara said she feels “like a big weight has been lifted off my shoulders”, and she’s looking forward to focusing on the future.

A few weeks ago Sam confirmed the couple’s split with a post on social media.

“This message goes out to all the beautiful people who shared with me such an amazing journey,” he wrote on Instagram at the time.

“The fairytale that I took part in was deep and surreal. My proposal was meant to be forever, but life sometimes takes you away from the dream and you wake up.

“So … deep breath … this has come to an end.”

Tara and Sam were one of the remaining couples in the Bachelor In Paradise finale, who stole the show with their fairytale proposal.
