Bachelorette Ali breaks silence on those x-rated cheating claims

It’s been five months since those x-rated rumours about Ali Oetjen supposedly “cheating” on her Bachelor in Paradise ex emerged.

But while Grant Kemp spilled all on his side of events, accusing his former girlfriend of getting hot and heavy with his bestie during a visit to LA — Ali stayed silent.

Now though, the 32-year-old — who is this year’s Bachelorette — has finally spoken out about the claims, accusing her ex of being an attention seeker.

“He wants to keep on grabbing those headlines. It speaks volumes for who he is really,” she told Stellar magazine.

She even addressed the fact she stayed silent for so long. despite Grant making some pretty scandalous claims against her.

“My major reason for not saying anything is that I don’t want to give him any ammunition or any reason to keep coming back in the limelight, which is what he wants,” she said.

Back in May, Grant said Ali broke his heart when he busted her in an x-rated liaison with his best friend on the stairs of his home.

“I don’t understand why she would do something like that,” Grant told New Idea. “She definitely had me fooled.”

Not long after, it was announced unlucky in love Ali would become Australia’s fourth Bachelorette, following in the footsteps of Sophie Monk, Georgia Love and Sam Frost.

There have been mixed reactions to news Ali would be given a third shot at love on the dating show franchise.

Just last week, the promo for her season dropped with viewers branding it “cringe”.

Some beady-eyed fans even thought they spotted a subtle swipe at her ex in the ad, noting she was on a set of stairs — was the same place Grant said he found her “cheating”.

Ali originally appeared on Tim Robards season of The Bachelor in 2013, where she was left broken hearted after he fell in love with — and recently married — Anna Heinrich.

Two years later she got engaged to her boyfriend David Waldeck, only for their shock split in 2017 to motivate her to join the first season of Bachelor In Paradise.
