Nick's brother's shocking confession about Cass

If there’s one Bachelor contestant who is 110% sure of her romantic feelings towards Nick Cummins, aka the Honey Badger, it would be Cassandra Wood.

And last night’s episode revealed a major hint as to why her emotions are so strong.

Viewers know that Cass has been on a date with the sports star in the real world before Bachelor filming began, but it seems Nick’s brother, Jacob, suggested there could be more to the story when he made a cameo on the reality show on Wednesday.

When speaking directly to the camera, Jacob divulged that he, Nick and Cass had once holidayed together in Queensland.

“I met Cass about a year ago,” he said. “She was up for the summer, up at the Gold Coast and we went surfing with Nick and we had a few yarns, few beers.

“They have a history outside, so it’ll be interesting to see how it works for her.”

Jacob also warned Cass not to reveal much detail about her and Nick’s history, as it certainly wouldn’t sit well with the other contestants.

It didn’t take long for some fans to speculate that Nick and Cass’ previous dalliance could be a lot more serious than the reality star’s let on so far.

“Hang on. Cass went up to the Gold Coast with Nick and his brother? This sounds more than a fling,” one viewer wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile another was curious as to why Jacob couldn’t quite look Cass in the eye.

The Bachelor continues tonight at 7:30pm on Channel Ten.
